Enhancing the Holiday with my Cricut Maker.

November 27, 2019

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

The holidays are very important to me and my family, even more so now because my mother is no longer here. One of my fondest memories of my mom was the last Christmas I was able to spend with her. I would wheel her in to my Craftroom, cover her in a blanket and she would sit there and watch me craft as we talked about everything under the sun. My mom was not Crafty but she enjoyed watching me while I worked on craft projects.

One thing my mother always talked about was my sisters and I always sticking together and thats where the ideas for the sisters brunch came about.

Every Christmas I’m in charge of the theme and decorations. This years Sisters Brunch them is “Merry Craftmas” (see link to blog post below) Last year’s theme was “The Grinch”.

“Grinch” themed Sisters Christmas Brunch 2018.
“Merry Craftmas” themed Sisters Christmas Brunch 2019.

I still haven’t decided if Im changing the theme for this years Christmas Tree. But no matter the theme I always use my Cricut to make sure it has that personal touch.

This year I used the maker to create the “Merry Craftmas” sign, the custom plates for santa, personalized stemless wine glasses for my sisters and I, and make and take station for the kids.

With the Cricut I was able to add names and sayings to a variety of items, thats what I love best about it. You’re able to create meaninful and memorable gift, and those are the best kind.

I encourage all Cricut owners to use their machines to create custom gifts for their loves ones this year. Below I’ve listed 25 of my favorite holiday projects that will inspire you to turn on that Cricut and get crafting for the holidays. (starting with my own)
