The holidays are here!!!!
And we’re all aware that things are going to be a little different than usual. 2020 has us in the house more than ever. Its not so much of a bad thing. But being in the house more, we focus on being comfortable now. And there’s nothing more comfortable than a t-shirt.
So this holiday, make a comfortable t-shirt with a cute Holiday quote. Its simple, quick, and best of all cute.
Supplies Needed:
- Cutting machine & mat (Im using my Cricut Maker)
- T-shirt
- Weeding tool
- Easy Press or a Heat Press
- Mat
- iCreate Ruler
- Iron on vinyl.
- Free Sports svg file ** Down Here **
Now that you’ve downloaded my free file, upload it in to design space. Then change the width to the size you need. I set mine to 8.5 inches. (or the size you would like for your shirt)
Next your going to ungroup the file.

The next step will be to highlight each work then attach them. So first, you’ll highlight “Your” attache it, highlight “Favorite” attache, then do the same for “Wrapper”

With the bow, if you plan on cutting on a patterned htv, you should change it another color so it gets sent to a separate mat when cutting.

Now that all that is done, SAVE. Its very important to remember to save your project before cutting so you don’t lose any of the changes you’ve made.
After each layer is cut, weed all of them. Weeding is basically, removing the pieces that won’t be on the shirt.

Your easy press needs to be set to 315 degrees and 30 seconds. Lay the mat down and the shirt on top of the mat. Take the easy press and iron out the shirt for 5 seconds.
Now you will lay your shirt on your mat and iron it our a little with the easy press.
Use the I-Create Ruler to measure how far from the neckline you would like to place your words. The ruler also helps you make sure your design is straight.

Place all of your design exactly where you would like it, then a piece of butcher paper on top of the design then lay the easy press on top of that. Press start then hold for the 30 seconds recommended. Let it cool for a few seconds and remove the clear sheet.

And we are done. So simple and so cute.

I love this SO much! I love wrapping Christmas presents (weird, I know) and this would be perfect to wear while doing it!
