Ryobi Glue Gun & Drill Review

August 27, 2019

Two of my favorite craft tools and most used are my Ryobi cordless glue gun and drill.

Both products can be found at HomeDepot.

Let’s start with the cordless glue gun, which gets extremely hot because its designed for heavy duty glueing application. Out of the two I use this one the most. The price of the glue gun without the battery is $30. It uses an 18 volt battery which usually last an average of 3 hours. The battery can be purchased separately for about $70 or you can buy the full set with the glue gun, 18 volt battery and charging dock for $100.

I purchased the full set along with an extra battery so I can have one charging while I’m using the other one and my gun is never dead.

Some of the projects I’ve used the glue gun on:

  • Centerpieces
  • Props
  • Photo Frames
  • Signs
  • Chip bags
  • Cake toppers

My cordless drill is my baby as well. I walked in to Home depot one day and just randomly picked this one, I really had no clue what I was doing, I just knew I needed a drill. I check on the Home depot website but I couldn’t find this exact one but I did find one that uses the same size battery as the glue gun and cost $50. The one i have (pictured below, uses a 9 volt battery) The battery life is the same (3 hours)

I also purchased a few different drill and drive kits for various projects, such as centerpiece bases and also for house hold projects and repairs as well.
