Step-by-Step Instructions
For Non-Cutting Machine Users:
- Print the PDF: Simply download and print the PDF HERE
- Cut by Hand: Use a pair of scissors or a craft knife to cut out the notebook pieces along the edges.
- Assemble: Take a sheet of copy paper and cut a square that matches the size of your cut-out images. Glue the cover piece on top of that sheet and the inner page piece inside, sandwiching a blank sheet in between with a piece sticking out to glue the colored layer onto to create a flap . Then on the copy paper that’s exposed, you’ll glue the colored sheet on to that using double sided tape or your choice of adhesive. Then you can glue it right into your traveling journal, and voilà—you’ve got a fun interactive flap!
For Cutting Machine Users:
- Download the PNGs: Grab the PNG images HERE
- Upload to Design Space: Import the images into Cricut Design Space and resize each one to about 3 inches in length.
- Cut with Your Machine: Let your Cricut or Silhouette do the cutting for you.
- Assemble the Flap: Just like with the hand-cut version, Take a sheet of copy paper and cut a square that matches the size of your cut-out images.
