Freebie Friday is back, and we’re kicking it off with a free printable Valentine’s Day large gift card. This oversized gift card is perfect for creating a fun, personalized Valentine’s Day gift that can be filled with treats, toys, or surprises.
This freebie includes a print-and-go PDF, and if you’d like to customize your own design, the editable template is available for purchase on the website. Whether you’re making one gift or several, this project is beginner-friendly and easy to assemble.
What You’ll Need
- Printer (I’m using the Epson EcoTank 16600)
- Paper – glossy paper or sticker paper
- Foam board – any thickness
- TrueControl knife (or precision craft knife)
- Self-healing cutting mat
- Clear acetate boxes
- Double-sided tape
Step-by-Step Instructions
Download and print the free PDF from the blog.

If using glossy paper, apply double-sided tape to the back and adhere it to the foam board.
If using sticker paper, peel off the backing and stick it directly onto the foam board.

Place your self-healing mat underneath the foam board.
Using your TrueControl knife, carefully cut the project to size (8.5 x 11). You can use a ruler to make sure your cut is straight.

Peel the protective film from the clear acetate box.

Add double-sided tape to the acetate box and secure it to the foam board.

Fill your box with toys, candy, money, or custom treats — and you’re done!

Make It Your Own
This Valentine’s Day version is decorated in pink and red, and they’re just perfect. You can also use other templates from the website to create personalized treats or inserts to place inside the acetate box.
If you want full creative control, grab the editable template from the shop and design a version that fits your theme perfectly.
