Easy to use Free Printable Halloween Bag Tags

September 26, 2025

Freebie Friday is Rolling On! 🎉

Freebie Friday is officially back in full swing, and this we.I’m giving you something spooky and stylish: printable Halloween bag tags. 🕸️

Last week, we had the Halloween Ring Pop wrappers, and I was blown away by how much you all loved them. This week, I wanted to give you another fun, budget-friendly printable that works for trick-or-treat night, classroom parties, or even as tags for Halloween goodie bags.

These bag tags instantly take a plain bag of candy and turn it into something custom and fun — without breaking the bank.

Supplies You’ll Need 🛠

(Include affiliate links where applicable — same style as the last blog)

  • Printer (I’m using the Epson ET-16600)
  • 8.5×11 Cardstock or Glossy Paper
  • Scissors or Paper Trimmer
  • Hole Punch
  • Ribbon, String, or Twine
  • Halloween Goodie Bags (or any treat bag of your choice)

Affiliate Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. That means if you purchase through my links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting my craft blog and helping me keep Freebie Fridays going strong!

Step-by-Step Instructions 👇

  • Download the Free Printable
Click the download link below to grab your free Halloween bag tags.
  • Print on Cardstock or Glossy Paper
Cardstock is sturdier, but glossy paper gives a professional look.
  • Cut Out the Tags
Use scissors or a paper trimmer for clean edges.
  • Punch a Hole
Use a hole punch at the top center of each tag.
  • Thread Ribbon or Twine
Loop your ribbon, string, or twine through the hole to prep the tag.
  • Attach to Bags
Tie the tag around your goodie bag, party favor, or trick-or-treat bag handle.

Why Bag Tags Are a Must-Have This Halloween 🎃

Bag tags are the small details that make a big difference. They:

  • Dress up any bag instantly (from dollar store plain to party-ready in seconds).
  • Save money while still giving your favors a polished, personalized look.
  • Work for all ages — kids love them, teachers love them, and parents will think you went all out.
