Cricut Craft: Valentine’s Day Heart Box

January 11, 2022

You guys know we prep for Valentines Day in January, some of us even start in December. So this craft isn’t too early, its right on time. And you know Cricut Crafts are my favorite Crafts. This Valentine’s Day Heart Box is one of Cricut’s ready made designs available in design space. Its fast, easy, and kid friendly.

You’ll need a few supplies.

  • Cricut
  • Pattern Carstock (im using a pattern I purchase from Michaels a few years ago)
  • light and hot pink card stock
  • black and red glitter card stock
  • foam squares
  • scoring stylus

Once in design space, go the “Projects” and typer in Love Heartop Box.

Select “Make It” since we don’t have to make any changes. The design will be sent to you machine and shows you which card stock to use.

  • sharp fold on the scoring lines
  • All folded and ready
  • How to assemble
  • Assemble of the top of box
  • Closing the top of the box

Once all your pieces are cut, the first step is to fold your scored lines. You can use something straight to run across the folds to make them sharper. I use the Cricut small scraper. (it can be anything)

Once all scored lines are folded, you can assemble the box. the best part is, there’s no need for glue, you just put the arrows in the slits cut in the box. Slide in the bottom piece of the arrow then work the top piece in. Now its time for the last step of assembling the box. Bend the two rounded pieces and bring the two half heats together. Slide them in to each other and that’s it.

  • Use small foam squares on the heart
  • Use a glue pen on the letters
  • LOVE

The heart on the front is easy to assemble. Use the small foam squares on the glitter heart. Then you can use a glue pen on the skinny individual letters. You can also use a Xyron mini sticker maker if you have one.

  • large foam circles on first heart
  • large foam circles on the second heart
  • Layered Hearts

I layered the hearts with the large foam squares then put it on the front of the box.

  • top view of the box
  • front view of the box
