This year Halloween is going to look a little different. With everything going on most parents will be keeping their children at home.
D.I.Y. Halloween projects will be the go-to for most of us. So why not DIY those candy bags and make them cute while you’re at it.
You’ll only need a few supplies:
- Cutting Machine & Mat (Im using the Cricut Maker for this project)
- Cello bags (4/6 inches)
- Card stock (you can choose glitter or regular 65lb)
- Foam circles
- Stapler & glue gun
- Embossing Machine ( only if you choose) Im using the Cricut Cuttle bug but is discontinued. You can find a variety of embossing machines on scrapbook.com
- Candy of your choice
- Halloween Topper SVG
This project is very simple and fast. Once you get the svg file, upload it to design space, then ungroup it.
Change the square size to 4/4 inches and the rectangle to 2/4 inches. Then change the dotted line to a score line.
Change the size of the ghost and pumpkin to your liking, you can have it fit right inside the rectangle or a little bigger than the rectangle.
Send everything to cut and choose the type of paper you’re using.
After all your pieces are cut,
-Put your desired candy in the bag
-Staple the folded topper piece on top of tag. (emboss your rectangle piece) if that’s the style you would like.
-Glue your rentable piece on top.
-Then add your ghost and pumpkin
And that’s it, its so simple the kids can make them on their own.
